
Greg Speas has dedicated over thirty-six years to the City of Hot Springs, serving as Fleet Service Director for the past 27 years. In this role, he oversees a fleet of approximately 1,000 assets, managing each vehicle from acquisition to retirement.
Greg began his career with the City in the fall of 1989 as an entry-level Fleet Technician. Driven by a passion for learning and professional growth, he attended every available training opportunity and earned ASE Master certifications in both Medium/Heavy Duty Truck and Automotive Repair. He also studied the NFPA 1901 standards and achieved Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certification.
After several years as Shop Manager, Greg was appointed Fleet Service Director in 1998. A recognized leader in his field, he has been an active member of NAFA for 29 years and helped found the Arkansas Public Fleet Professionals Association (APFPA) in 2007.
Outside of work, Greg has been married to his wife, Dawn, for 37 years. Together, they have two sons: Hunter, 24, and Peyton, 19.
