Walter Ederle CAFM serves as the Senior Fleet Manager for the City of Little Rock overseeing the strategic planning, maintenance, fueling, acquisition and sustainability efforts for the city’s diverse fleet.

With over 15 years of public sector experience, Walter ensures that all City departments – including public safety, public works, parks & recreation and housing are supported with reliable, safe and cost – effective transportation and operational solutions. Walter leads initiatives in sustainable fleet management including the integration of electric vehicles and green technologies. He is committed to operational efficiency, reducing downtime, budget stewardship and integrating green technologies to meet the evolving demands of urban mobility. Prior to this position Walter held key roles in both private & public sector fleet management, bringing a wealth of technical knowledge and leadership experience. He holds certifications such as the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) and is an active member of industry organizations like NAFA Fleet Management Association and the American Public Works Association (APWA).

Outside of work, Walter enjoys traveling and is a passionate automotive enthusiast with a particular love for classic Porsche restoration. Whether sourcing rare parts or rebuilding engines, he finds the hand on work of restoring vintage Porsches brings a perfect balance to the demands of modern fleet management.
